About the Role

As Senior Dynamic Positioning Operator, you'll serve as a key member of the bridge team, responsible for operating and monitoring the automated and fixed station keeping systems that keep our MODUs safely positioned on location. You'll stand watch as Officer in Charge of the Navigational Watch while the vessel is underway, making critical decisions that affect crew safety and operational success. This role places you at the center of offshore drilling operations, where your expertise directly impacts project timelines and incident prevention.

What You'll Do

• Operate and maintain dynamic positioning systems, monitoring real-time vessel positioning and thruster performance
• Stand OICNW watch, managing navigation, vessel movement, and bridge operations during transit
• Serve as the senior marine representative on the bridge and control room during assigned watches
• Report directly to the Chief Mate or Barge Supervisor, coordinating with operations and drilling teams
• Ensure compliance with maritime regulations and company safety protocols
• Respond to system anomalies and environmental changes with sound judgment and technical knowledge
• Maintain detailed watch logs and operational records

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a dynamic positioning operator or equivalent offshore bridge operations background
• Strong working knowledge of station keeping systems, thrusters, and marine navigation
• Valid maritime certifications and qualifications required for OICNW duties
• Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to direct junior crew members
• Excellent situational awareness and decision-making in high-pressure environments
• Commitment to safety-first culture and continuous improvement
