VP, Brand Strategy

BGB Group is seeking a Vice President of Brand Strategy to lead our commercial positioning and market differentiation efforts from our New York City headquarters. This is a full-time leadership role for an experienced strategist ready to shape how pharmaceutical and life science companies navigate market opportunities and build breakthrough impact.

About the Role

As Vice President of Brand Strategy at BGB Group, you will oversee the strategic direction of our commercial solutions, translating healthcare market insights into compelling brand narratives and positioning that drive client growth. You'll partner across our consulting, communication, creative, and technology teams to develop integrated strategies that address the industry's most pressing challenges.

What You'll Do

• Lead the development and evolution of strategic brand frameworks and positioning for pharmaceutical and life science clients
• Conduct market analysis, competitive intelligence, and stakeholder research to inform strategy and identify market opportunities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including strategists, scientists, creatives, and technologists—to translate brand strategy into integrated campaigns and communications
• Mentor and build high-performing strategy teams, fostering a culture of breakthrough thinking and evidence-based decision-making
• Present strategic recommendations and insights to senior leadership and key clients with clarity and persuasion
• Oversee the measurement and optimization of brand strategy initiatives to ensure alignment with business objectives
• Stay current with healthcare industry trends, regulatory landscape shifts, and emerging market dynamics

What We're Looking For

• 8+ years of brand strategy, marketing strategy, or commercial consulting experience, with 3+ years in a leadership role
• Demonstrated expertise in pharmaceutical, life science, healthcare, or regulated industry strategy
• Proven ability to develop data-driven strategies that connect market insights to measurable business outcomes
• Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to influence without direct authority
• Excellent strategic thinking, analytical rigor, and communication ability
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
