About the Role
As Host/Hostess at Drake's, you'll be the welcoming face of our restaurant, managing the flow of guests and creating the dynamic, friendly atmosphere that defines our brand. This is a full-time position where you'll work directly with our team to ensure every visitor feels valued from the moment they walk through the door.
What You'll Do
- Greet guests with genuine warmth and seat them according to server availability and table rotation
- Manage the wait list and communicate estimated wait times accurately
- Answer phones and handle reservation inquiries
- Maintain an organized host stand with current menus, seating charts, and reservation records
- Coordinate with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to optimize seating and table turnover
- Create a welcoming first impression that reflects Drake's distinctive approach and vibrant atmosphere
- Respond to guest needs and resolve seating concerns with professionalism and quick thinking
