Production Supervisor

Smurfit Westrock is hiring a Production Supervisor to lead production operations at our Chesterfield facility in Saint Louis County. This full-time role manages the production team to ensure manufacturing schedules are met, production runs efficiently, and safety and quality standards remain consistently strong.

About the Role

As Production Supervisor at our Chesterfield location, you'll oversee daily production operations and lead a team of production staff to deliver consistent results on time and to specification. You'll serve as the operational leader during your shift, responsible for coordinating workflows, solving problems in real time, and maintaining a safe, productive environment.

What You'll Do

• Supervise and manage production department employees to meet daily, weekly, and monthly manufacturing targets
• Coordinate production operations across equipment, materials, and personnel to optimize efficiency and throughput
• Enforce and maintain safety regulations, quality procedures, and compliance standards throughout the shift
• Monitor production performance, track metrics, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
• Conduct training, provide performance feedback, and support the development of direct reports
• Communicate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and resolve issues promptly
• Document production data, incidents, and shift activities for facility records and reporting

• High school diploma or equivalent; manufacturing experience or supervisory certification a plus
