Join Albemarle County Public Schools as Head Boys Tennis Coach at Monticello High School in Charlottesville City, Virginia. About the Role

As the Head Boys Tennis Coach, you will direct all aspects of the Monticello High School boys tennis program, including practice planning, athlete development, match strategy, and program management. You'll work within the Virginia High School League (VHSL) framework to ensure compliance with rules and regulations while building a competitive, supportive team environment.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for boys tennis athletes of all skill levels, from novice to advanced competitors
  • Lead practices, oversee skill development, and prepare student-athletes for matches and tournaments
  • Coach during competitions and provide constructive feedback to support athlete growth and progression
  • Maintain compliance with all VHSL rules, regulations, and athletic department policies
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with athletes, parents, families, and school community members
  • Manage team logistics, equipment, schedules, and match coordination
