About the Role

This position sits within the Rehab Center at Mercy Health Center, reporting to the Rehab Therapy supervisor. Although the role emphasizes weekend availability, it is classified as a Full‑Time position. You will work part‑time with weekend shifts, delivering evidence‑based therapy that aligns with departmental policies and referral standards.

What You'll Do

• Conduct objective functional assessments for adult and geriatric clients.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that address mobility, strength, and pain management.
• Provide direct patient supervision during therapeutic exercises and activities.
• Document progress notes, treatment outcomes, and discharge plans in accordance with Mercy’s documentation guidelines.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other rehab staff to ensure coordinated care.
• Maintain a safe, clean therapy environment and adhere to infection‑control protocols.

What We're Looking For

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT).
• Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program.
• Experience working with adult and geriatric populations in outpatient or inpatient rehab settings.
• Strong clinical reasoning skills and proficiency in objective measurement tools.
• Ability to follow established policies and procedures while adapting interventions to patient needs.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Reliability to work scheduled part‑time hours, including weekend shifts.
