Industry X- MES PAS-X Consultant

Accenture is seeking an Industry X- MES PAS-X Consultant to join its team in International, King County. This full‑time position focuses on delivering manufacturing execution system solutions that enable clients to optimize production and drive digital transformation.

About the Role

As an Industry X- MES PAS-X Consultant, you will work closely with manufacturing clients to assess their operational needs, design PAS‑X based solutions, and guide implementation projects from concept through go‑live. You will act as a trusted advisor, bridging business requirements with technical execution to improve shop‑floor visibility, efficiency, and compliance.

What You'll Do

• Gather and document functional and non‑functional requirements from stakeholders across production, engineering, and IT.
• Design solution architectures using Siemens PAS‑X MES, including module configuration, workflow modeling, and data integration plans.
• Configure and test PAS‑X components such as recipe management, equipment tracking, genealogy, and quality modules.
• Develop training materials and conduct end‑user workshops to ensure smooth adoption of the new system.
• Provide post‑go‑live support, troubleshoot issues, and recommend continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional Accenture teams to leverage Industry X capabilities, data analytics, and AI enhancements where appropriate.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent practical experience is also considered.
• Proven experience implementing or supporting Siemens PAS‑X MES or comparable manufacturing execution systems.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, shop‑floor operations, and industry standards such as ISA‑95 or ISA‑88.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical specifications and configure PAS‑X modules accordingly.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience training and guiding diverse audiences.
• Familiarity with integration techniques (e.g., OPC UA, REST APIs, middleware) connecting MES to ERP, SCADA, or IoT platforms.
• Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced consulting environment.
