Fur Baby Pet Resort in Milford, Sussex County is seeking a part‑time Dog Groomer to join its growing spa team.

About the Role

As a Dog Groomer at Fur Baby Pet Resort, you will provide high‑quality grooming services that keep pets looking and feeling their best while delivering a welcoming experience for pet owners.

What You'll Do

• Bathe, brush, and dry dogs of all sizes and coat types
• Perform breed‑specific haircuts, trims, and styling according to owner preferences
• Trim nails, clean ears, and express anal glands when needed and within safety guidelines
• Sanitize grooming tools, workstations, and bathing areas between appointments
• Maintain accurate grooming records, note any skin or coat concerns, and communicate observations to pet owners
• Assist with appointment scheduling, check‑in/check‑out, and retail product recommendations as needed

What We're Looking For

• Prior experience grooming a variety of dog breeds, preferably in a salon or resort setting
• Solid understanding of breed‑specific grooming styles and a keen eye for detail
• Strong interpersonal skills; able to listen to client requests and explain grooming options clearly
• Self‑motivated, punctual, and dependable with a collaborative team attitude
• Physical ability to lift and handle dogs up to 50 lb and stand for extended periods
• Grooming certification or formal training is a plus but not required
