About the Role
This is an hourly, full‑time position with a starting rate of $23.35 per hour, adjusted for experience. Regular shifts run Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with overtime available as needed. The primary function is to clean components so that coolant, oil, and other residues do not affect downstream processes.
What You'll Do- Operate and monitor parts‑washing equipment to achieve specified cleanliness levels.
- Inspect washed parts for remaining contaminants and reroute any that do not meet standards.
- Maintain proper levels of cleaning solutions, filters, and detergents according to work instructions.
- Record production data, including cycle times and any equipment irregularities.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on washers and report mechanical issues to maintenance staff.
- Follow all safety protocols, wear required personal protective equipment, and keep the work area organized.
- Assist with loading and unloading parts using pallet jacks or hand trucks as needed.
- Participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives and suggest ways to enhance efficiency or quality.
