About the Role

As a Lease Operator you will oversee day‑to‑day wellsite activities, ensure equipment operates within specification, and support the team in meeting production goals while adhering to strict safety and environmental standards.

What You'll Do

• Monitor well performance and adjust controls to maintain optimal flow rates
• Conduct routine inspections of pumps, separators, tanks, and associated piping
• Perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on production equipment
• Respond to alarms and troubleshoot operational issues promptly
• Record production data, equipment readings, and maintenance activities in logbooks
• Ensure all work complies with OSHA, EPA, and company safety policies
• Coordinate with field technicians and supervisors to schedule workovers or shut‑ins
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow proper lock‑out/tag‑out procedures

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in oil & gas operations preferred
• Proven experience as a Lease Operator, pumper, or similar field role
• Strong understanding of oil and gas production processes and equipment
• Ability to read gauges, meters, and basic electrical schematics
• Mechanical aptitude for performing routine maintenance and minor repairs
• Commitment to safety excellence and environmental stewardship
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record for travel between sites
• Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
