About the Role

This is an hourly, full‑time position with a starting rate of $23.35 per hour, adjusted for experience. Regular shifts run Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with overtime available as needed. The primary function is to clean components so that coolant, oil, and other residues do not affect downstream processes.

What You'll Do

  • Operate and monitor parts‑washing equipment to achieve specified cleanliness levels.
  • Inspect washed parts for remaining contaminants and reroute any that do not meet standards.
  • Maintain proper levels of cleaning solutions, filters, and detergents according to work instructions.
  • Record production data, including cycle times and any equipment irregularities.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance on washers and report mechanical issues to maintenance staff.
  • Follow all safety protocols, wear required personal protective equipment, and keep the work area organized.
  • Assist with loading and unloading parts using pallet jacks or hand trucks as needed.
  • Participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives and suggest ways to enhance efficiency or quality.

What We're Looking For

  • Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions consistently.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort working with industrial cleaning machinery.
  • Previous experience in a parts‑washing, machining, or manufacturing setting is a plus but not required.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods.
  • Solid attendance record and a commitment to punctuality.
  • Good communication skills and a team‑oriented mindset.
  • Basic math skills for measuring solutions and documenting production metrics.
  • Strict adherence to safety, quality, and environmental guidelines.
