About the Role
As Senior Counsel, you'll serve as a key legal strategist guiding our organization through evolving contractual landscapes and corporate transactions. This role combines direct legal counsel on high-stakes agreements with institutional responsibility for business development legal initiatives, including evaluations of acquisition opportunities, post-close integration support, and venture arrangements that drive company expansion.
What You'll Do
- Lead the full lifecycle of contract management—from initial drafting and risk analysis through negotiation, execution, and enforcement—for commercial and operational arrangements across the enterprise
- Provide strategic legal advice on transaction structures, due diligence processes, and deal terms for acquisitions and partnership opportunities
- Manage high volumes of agreements with accuracy and efficiency, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and company policy
- Support business development teams with legal guidance on market entry, licensing, and product-related contracts
- Advise on post-transaction matters, including integration obligations and ongoing contractual performance
- Partner with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to identify legal risks and develop pragmatic solutions
What We're Looking For
- Juris Doctor and active bar membership in a US jurisdiction
- 7+ years of legal experience in corporate transactions, contract law, or business development
- Demonstrated proficiency in drafting, analyzing, and negotiating complex commercial agreements
- Strong understanding of M&A processes, due diligence, and deal structures
- Excellent judgment, written and oral communication skills, and ability to manage competing priorities
- Comfort working independently while collaborating effectively with business partners
