About the Role
As an Associate Attorney focused on employment and wage & hour class actions, you will handle substantive legal work on behalf of clients facing wage theft, misclassification, overtime violations, and other employment-related claims. You will contribute to case strategy, client representation, and the development of class action litigation from initial investigation through resolution.
What You'll Do
- Conduct legal research and analysis on employment law issues, wage and hour regulations, and class certification standards
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other litigation documents
- Manage client communications and coordinate with opposing counsel
- Prepare for and participate in depositions, hearings, and mediations
- Investigate wage and hour claims and analyze employment records
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on case theory development and litigation strategy
- Contribute to the evaluation and intake of new employment-related matters
What We're Looking For
- California bar admission or eligibility for admission
- Strong legal writing and research skills
- Familiarity with civil litigation and discovery procedures
