Landscape Nursery Yard Supervisor

Outdoor Environments Inc is seeking a Landscape Nursery Yard Supervisor to lead daily operations at their Braselton, Jackson County garden center.

This full‑time position blends hands‑on yard management with attentive customer service to keep the plant and landscape supply areas running smoothly.

What You'll Do

• Manage daily operations of the plant yard and landscape supply yard, ensuring plants remain healthy, properly watered, and attractively displayed.
• Supervise and train yard staff, assign tasks, monitor performance, and encourage a collaborative team environment.
• Control inventory levels, coordinate receipt of new shipments, and perform regular stock counts to maintain accurate supplies.
• Provide attentive customer service, assist shoppers with plant selection, answer questions, and build lasting relationships.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area by enforcing safety protocols and keeping aisles, pathways, and display zones tidy.
• Work with purchasing and sales teams to forecast demand and plan seasonal product rotations.
• Handle basic equipment maintenance and report any issues to facilities management.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in a nursery, garden center, or landscape yard supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and organizational abilities with a proven track record of motivating teams.
• Knowledge of plant care, horticulture basics, and landscape materials.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and coworkers.
• Ability to lift moderate weights, stand for extended periods, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Basic math and record‑keeping skills for inventory and ordering tasks.
• A commitment to safety and maintaining high standards of yard presentation.
