Chief Marketing Officer

PGA of America Corporate seeks a Chief Marketing Officer to lead marketing strategy and brand growth in The Colony, Denton County. This full-time position offers the opportunity to shape how the world engages with golf through innovative marketing, strategic partnerships, and member-focused campaigns.

About the Role

As Chief Marketing Officer, you will oversee all aspects of the organization's marketing function, from brand strategy and digital presence to member acquisition, retention, and engagement. You'll report directly to senior leadership and play a key role in advancing the mission to grow the game of golf while driving organizational objectives and supporting the PGA of America's diverse membership base.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that align with organizational goals and resonate with golf enthusiasts, members, and partners
• Lead, mentor, and manage the marketing team, fostering collaboration and innovation within the department
• Oversee brand positioning, messaging, and creative development across all digital and traditional channels
• Drive member engagement initiatives and campaigns designed to strengthen loyalty and grow community
• Manage marketing budgets, measure campaign performance, and optimize ROI across all initiatives
• Build and nurture strategic partnerships that enhance brand visibility and expand reach within the golf industry
• Analyze market trends and competitor landscape to inform strategic positioning and decision-making

What We're Looking For

• Proven executive marketing leadership experience, ideally with 10+ years in marketing or related roles
• Track record of developing and implementing successful marketing strategies in competitive environments
• Strong understanding of digital marketing, content strategy, social media, and analytics
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships at all levels
• Strategic thinking paired with attention to detail and accountability for measurable results
• Passion for golf, sports, membership organizations, or mission-driven industries is a plus
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence senior leadership
