The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Coastal Plain is seeking a full‑time Program Associate for the 21st Century Grant initiative in Winterville, Pitt County.
About the Role
Reporting to the Director of Federal Grants, the Program Associate will manage the day‑to‑day operations of the 21st Century Community Learning Centers (CCLC) program, ensuring compliance with federal guidelines and supporting quality out‑of‑school‑time experiences for local youth.What You'll Do
- Oversee grant administration, including budget tracking, expense reporting, and compliance monitoring
- Coordinate program activities, schedules, and partnerships with schools and community organizations
- Collect and analyze performance data to measure outcomes and prepare required reports
- Support site staff through training, technical assistance, and resource allocation
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with grant requirements
- Assist in the planning and implementation of enrichment activities that promote academic success and personal growth
What We're Looking For
- Experience administering federal or state education grants, preferably 21st Century CCLC or similar programs
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities for collaborating with diverse stakeholders
- Proficiency in data collection, reporting, and basic budgeting tools
- Commitment to youth development and familiarity with after‑school or summer learning environments
- Bachelor’s degree in education, public administration, nonprofit management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
