Part-time Surgical Center Nurse

IVI America in El Toro, Orange County, California is hiring a Part-time Surgical Center Nurse to deliver compassionate perioperative care in our fertility surgical center. Work a convenient morning schedule while supporting patients through their reproductive procedures.

About the Role

Join IVI America's surgical team and provide comprehensive nursing care across all phases of the surgical patient experience. This part-time position runs Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM, offering schedule flexibility while maintaining continuity of care in our modern surgical facility. You'll be instrumental in ensuring patient safety, comfort, and positive outcomes during fertility procedures.

What You'll Do

• Conduct pre-operative patient assessments, including vital signs monitoring, chart review, and surgical site verification
• Assist the surgical team during operative procedures with precise instrument handling and seamless clinical coordination
• Monitor and care for patients in the post-operative period, managing pain and ensuring safe recovery prior to discharge
• Maintain accurate and timely surgical records in compliance with regulatory and facility standards
• Communicate with patients and families to address concerns and provide clear discharge and aftercare guidance
• Uphold infection prevention protocols and contribute to a culture of safety and continuous quality improvement

What We're Looking For

• Current California RN license in active standing
• Prior perioperative or surgical center nursing experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain composure in a dynamic surgical environment
• Excellent patient communication and teamwork skills across all levels of staff
• Dedication to patient-centered care, safety standards, and professional nursing practice
