SVP, Government Affairs with Security Clearance

True Anomaly. Inc. seeks a Senior Vice President of Government Affairs to lead strategic advocacy and governmental relationships from our headquarters in Washington, D.C. This full-time leadership position requires a security clearance and extensive expertise in space policy, federal procurement, and Capitol Hill engagement.

About the Role

As SVP of Government Affairs, you'll serve as True Anomaly's principal liaison to Congress, the Department of Defense, and allied government agencies. You'll shape policy at the highest levels while advancing the company's mission to secure space and counter emerging threats. This role combines strategic planning with hands-on stakeholder management in one of the nation's most dynamic defense sectors.

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in Congress, the Pentagon, the Space Force, and intelligence agencies
• Develop and execute government relations strategy aligned with company objectives and space policy initiatives
• Coordinate regulatory and compliance efforts across federal and allied government programs
• Lead advocacy campaigns to shape space policy, procurement practices, and national security priorities
• Represent True Anomaly at industry forums, government conferences, and strategic partnerships
• Manage security clearance protocols and ensure full compliance with government contracting requirements
• Collaborate with executive leadership to identify and pursue new government market opportunities

What We're Looking For

• Valid security clearance or ability to obtain one
• Extensive background in government affairs, policy, or federal relations
• Demonstrated expertise in space policy, defense contracting, or national security
• Established relationships with Capitol Hill, DoD, or space agency officials
• Proven track record of successful policy advocacy and government stakeholder engagement
• Strategic mindset combined with strong negotiation and communication skills
• Understanding of federal procurement processes and contractor compliance requirements
