Claims Representative – Workers Compensation | Jurisdiction: AK | Licensing: AK – Remote

Sedgwick is seeking a Claims Representative – Workers Compensation for a full-time remote position serving Alaska (AK) jurisdictions. You'll need current AK licensing and will support injured workers, employers, and providers from our San Juan-based operations.

About the Role

As a Claims Representative in our workers' compensation division, you'll manage claims throughout their lifecycle under Alaska regulations. This remote position places you at the center of our claims operation, directly supporting individuals during their most vulnerable moments while upholding the highest standards of claim administration and regulatory compliance.

What You'll Do

• Administer workers' compensation claims from intake through resolution, ensuring full compliance with Alaska state law
• Investigate claims, verify coverage, and determine benefit eligibility based on policy terms and regulations
• Build relationships with injured workers, employers, medical providers, and insurers through clear, professional communication
• Develop and maintain complete, accurate claim files and documentation
• Address claim disputes, coverage questions, and denial appeals with sound judgment
• Meet performance targets while delivering quality service to all stakeholders

What We're Looking For

• Current Alaska workers' compensation license (or ability to obtain one)
• Hands-on experience managing workers' compensation claims
• In-depth knowledge of Alaska employment law and workers' compensation regulations
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to juggle multiple claims and competing priorities
• Self-directed work style suited to remote work environments
