About the Role
As a Sales Associate at our Old Washington Dollar General store, you'll be the face of customer service and a key member of our team. This is a full-time position where you'll make a direct impact on our customers' shopping experience and our store's success every single day.
What You'll Do
- Welcome customers with a friendly attitude and assist them in finding products and completing purchases
- Operate the cash register accurately and efficiently while maintaining a secure, honest checkout process
- Stock shelves and displays with merchandise, keeping our store organized, clean, and visually appealing
- Process transactions, handle payments, and manage customer inquiries or concerns professionally
- Maintain awareness of current promotions and pricing to help customers find the best values
- Support store operations by following company policies and contributing to a positive work environment
- Help keep the store clean and safe, including restocking and straightening merchandise throughout shifts
