Sales Executive – Farmingdale, NY

WM is seeking a Sales Executive to drive growth in our Regulated Medical Waste and Compliance Services division, based in Long Island City, Queens. This full-time position offers the opportunity to build and expand a sustainable revenue stream by connecting healthcare providers and medical facilities with mission-critical waste management and regulatory compliance solutions.

About the Role

As a Sales Executive, you will own business development within your assigned geographic territory, identifying new customer opportunities and strengthening relationships with existing accounts. You'll sell comprehensive Regulated Medical Waste disposal and Compliance Services (including OSHA and HIPAA protocols) to healthcare organizations, clinics, laboratories, and other regulated facilities that depend on reliable, compliant waste management.

What You'll Do

• Prospect and qualify leads within your territory, building a pipeline of medical and healthcare facilities seeking waste disposal and compliance solutions
• Conduct needs assessments to understand each prospect's regulatory requirements and operational challenges
• Present and negotiate service proposals, emphasizing compliance, safety, and cost efficiency
• Close sales and onboard new customers, ensuring smooth implementation of services
• Manage and grow an assigned customer base, identifying upsell opportunities in waste services and compliance programs
• Meet or exceed revenue targets and profitability goals for your territory
• Maintain accurate records of sales activity and customer interactions using company systems

What We're Looking For

• Proven B2B sales experience, ideally in healthcare, environmental services, or regulated industries
• Strong communication and consultative selling skills
• Ability to understand and explain regulatory compliance requirements (OSHA, HIPAA, or similar)
• Territory management and quota attainment track record
• Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently with sales tools and CRM systems
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel within your assigned region
