About the Role
Triage Staffing LLC is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Tech for a full-time travel position in Overland Park, Johnson County. This is a 13-week assignment with an 8/11/2025 start date, working 40 hours per week on day shifts. The compensation package includes a competitive weekly rate of $2,505, reflecting the specialized nature of cardiac catheterization lab work.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and maintain cardiac catheterization lab equipment and supplies to ensure sterile, safe operating conditions
- Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
- Position patients appropriately and monitor vital signs and hemodynamic parameters throughout procedures
- Manage catheter lab inventory, equipment troubleshooting, and documentation
- Communicate effectively with the cardiovascular team to ensure smooth, efficient patient care
- Follow all infection control, safety, and HIPAA protocols
What We're Looking For
- Current RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification or equivalent Cath Lab Tech credentials
- Minimum 2+ years of hands-on cardiac catheterization lab experience
- Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, procedures, and hemodynamics
- Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and support staff
- Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
- Valid state healthcare licensure (as required in Kansas)
