About the Role
As an Oracle EPM Senior Consultant specializing in Financial Close Cloud Services (FCCS), you'll partner with enterprise clients to design, build, and optimize financial close processes using Oracle's leading cloud platform. You'll work alongside finance executives, accounting leaders, and cross-functional teams to translate complex business requirements into scalable, efficient solutions that accelerate monthly and quarterly close cycles while reducing manual effort and improving data accuracy.
What You'll Do
- Lead the end-to-end implementation and optimization of Oracle FCCS solutions for Fortune 500 and mid-market clients across industries
- Conduct requirements discovery sessions with CFOs, controllers, and accounting teams to understand current-state pain points and design target-state processes
- Configure FCCS functionality including consolidation, intercompany eliminations, reporting, and workflow automation
- Develop integration strategies between FCCS and ERP systems, data warehouses, and reporting platforms
- Mentor junior consultants and lead client engagement teams through implementation phases
- Troubleshoot complex technical and functional issues and provide strategic recommendations for continuous improvement
- Document solutions, best practices, and playbooks that accelerate future engagements
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of hands-on Oracle EPM, FCCS, or Oracle Financial Cloud experience in consulting or corporate roles
- Demonstrated expertise in financial consolidation, close processes, and multi-entity accounting scenarios
- Strong functional knowledge of general ledger accounting, revenue recognition, and intercompany transactions
- Proven ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and manage client expectations
- Experience leading implementations from discovery through go-live
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field; CPA or relevant certification preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic client environments
