Controls Account Manager

About the Role

As Controls Account Manager at Trane Technologies, you'll be the primary point of contact for customers managing their building automation and controls systems. You'll combine technical knowledge with strong customer service to ensure every client receives the support and solutions they need to operate their systems efficiently.

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain long-term relationships with assigned controls accounts in your territory
• Provide expert guidance on building automation systems, controls configuration, and system optimization
• Respond to customer inquiries and technical questions with accurate, timely solutions
• Coordinate with internal teams including service, engineering, and technical support to resolve issues
• Identify opportunities to expand services or introduce new controls solutions to existing customers
• Maintain detailed account records and customer documentation for reference and follow-up
• Contribute to customer satisfaction and retention goals for your accounts

What We're Looking For

• Experience in account management, customer service, or technical support roles
• Working knowledge of building controls systems, HVAC technology, or related climate systems
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to explain technical concepts clearly
• Problem-solving ability and technical aptitude
