Hybrid Contractor – Project Controls Specialist (P6 Scheduler Level 3)-Houston TX

Seine LLC is hiring for a full-time contract Project Controls Specialist to drive scheduling and program management for a large-scale nuclear infrastructure project based in the Houston, Texas area (Trammells, Harris County).

About This Opportunity

This 40-hour-per-week contract role runs through June 2027 and focuses on delivering critical path schedules, project controls analysis, and timeline management for a complex nuclear initiative. You'll partner with cross-functional teams to shepherd the project from design conception through execution, ensuring every phase stays aligned and on schedule.

Core Responsibilities

• Build and maintain detailed project schedules in Primavera P6 (P6)
• Track schedule adherence, flag risk areas, and propose corrective actions
• Conduct project controls analysis to support decision-making by executive sponsors
• Integrate design, procurement, construction, and testing schedules into unified timelines
• Establish schedule baselines and monitor earned value against targets
• Report schedule status, trends, and risks to project stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• Intermediate-level proficiency with Primavera P6 scheduling software
• Track record managing large, multiphase projects in nuclear, power, or heavy industrial sectors
• Deep working knowledge of critical path analysis and schedule risk management
• Professional writing and presentation abilities
• Collaborative mindset and ability to influence across departments
• Authorized to work in the United States

Location & Work Arrangement

This contract position is based in the Houston, TX area (specifically Trammells in Harris County). Team members have the flexibility to work from either the Corvallis, Oregon or Houston, Texas office.
