About the Role

As a Universal Banker at Truist's South Norfolk branch, you'll be central to delivering an exceptional customer experience. This part-time role combines customer service, sales, and operational excellence. You'll work 20 hours per week in a dynamic branch environment, helping customers meet their financial goals while supporting branch success.

What You'll Do

• Welcome customers and assist with opening new accounts and account management
• Process deposits, withdrawals, payments, and other customer transactions with accuracy
• Educate customers about Truist's full range of banking products and services
• Recommend appropriate financial solutions based on customer needs
• Build meaningful customer relationships and identify cross-sell opportunities
• Support daily branch operations and maintain accurate records
• Comply with all banking regulations, anti-money laundering protocols, and company policies

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Proven customer service experience (retail, hospitality, or similar)
• Ability to work part-time 20 hours weekly; flexible schedule accommodates our South Norfolk, Chesapeake City location
• Strong numeracy and attention to detail with financial information
• Quick learner with ability to master banking systems and products
• Professional communication skills and a customer-first mindset
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
