About the Role
This full-time position welcomes attorneys with prior experience at our firm who are ready to return and expand their impact. You'll work on high-stakes securities cases, shareholder litigation, and governance advisory matters. Your depth of knowledge about our practice, clients, and firm culture will enable you to hit the ground running and immediately contribute to important matters.
What You'll Do
- Research and analyze complex securities law, corporate governance issues, and shareholder litigation
- Draft briefs, motions, complaints, discovery materials, and other legal documents
- Engage directly with institutional investor clients including pension funds, banks, asset managers, and insurance companies
- Develop case strategy and coordinate matters across litigation teams
- Advise on shareholder rights, proxy contests, derivative actions, and related matters
- Support trial preparation, depositions, and oral argument
What We're Looking For
- Active New York bar admission or ability to obtain it
- Prior work experience at Bernstein Litowitz Berger & Grossmann LLP
- Demonstrated excellence in legal research and writing
- Experience handling securities litigation or corporate governance matters
- Strong client communication and relationship management skills
- Ability to work efficiently across multiple complex matters
