About the Role

As a Pipe Welder with Labor One Staffing, you will fabricate, fit, and join a wide range of pipe and tubular components to specification within an active shipyard environment. This is a hands-on, full-time position suited to welders who take pride in precision work and want steady shipyard employment. Prior shipyard experience is required, and housing assistance is available to help you relocate or settle in near the job site.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and lay out pipe assemblies, fittings, and similar tubular products before fabrication
• Weld, fit, and install piping systems in line with applicable shipyard specifications and standards
• Test completed joints and assemblies to confirm they meet quality and integrity requirements
• Repair and modify existing pipe and tubular systems as directed
• Work safely and collaboratively alongside other trades on the shipyard floor

Qualifications

• Proven, verifiable shipyard experience (required)
• Demonstrated skill welding and fitting pipe and tubular products
• Ability to read layouts and follow technical specifications accurately
• Willingness to work full-time on-site at the Port St. Joe, FL shipyard
