The Maybourne Beverly Hills Hotel is hiring a Director of Human Resources to lead our people strategy and organizational development in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles County. About the Role
As Director of Human Resources, you will oversee all aspects of our human capital function. You'll partner with executive leadership to align HR strategy with business objectives, manage our recruitment pipeline, and cultivate an engaged, high-performing workforce. This position requires both strategic vision and hands-on execution across employee relations, talent management, and organizational development.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute HR strategy that supports company growth and culture in the Beverly Hills hospitality market
- Lead talent acquisition, recruitment, and onboarding to build and retain exceptional teams
- Oversee employee relations, performance management, and professional development programs
- Manage compensation, benefits, and payroll administration with accuracy and compliance
- Ensure adherence to employment law and regulatory requirements in Los Angeles County
- Foster an inclusive workplace culture aligned with our brand values
- Serve as a strategic advisor to senior management on organizational and people matters
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Seven or more years of progressive HR experience with supervisory or director-level responsibility
- Demonstrated expertise in recruitment, employee relations, and performance management
- Strong knowledge of federal and California employment law and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strategic mindset with ability to balance operational excellence and long-term vision
- Experience in hospitality or service-oriented industries preferred
