About the Role

As an Automotive Service Advisor, you'll serve as the customer champion in our service department, translating vehicle concerns into clear service solutions. Operating in a fast-paced West Gulfport dealership environment, you'll manage customer interactions, coordinate vehicle diagnostics, and ensure every customer experience strengthens loyalty and generates service revenue. Your professionalism and product knowledge directly impact both satisfaction scores and departmental performance.

What You'll Do

• Welcome customers with professionalism and actively listen to identify service needs and concerns
• Write comprehensive, accurate work orders that guide technicians and set customer expectations
• Schedule and coordinate service appointments to optimize dealership efficiency and customer convenience
• Provide transparent cost estimates and explain service recommendations in clear, non-technical language
• Deliver proactive status updates and manage customer communication throughout the service process
• Partner with technicians to resolve technical questions and confirm customer satisfaction
• Build repeat business through relationship development and follow-up engagement
• Meet service revenue targets and contribute to department performance goals

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or comparable customer service role in automotive retail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to educate customers about vehicle maintenance
• Demonstrated organizational capability to manage multiple concurrent customers and appointments
• Knowledge of vehicle systems, routine maintenance, and common repair procedures
• Customer-first mindset with genuine commitment to satisfaction and retention
• Energy and adaptability to perform well under high volume and competing priorities
• Competence with dealership management systems and standard computer applications
• High school diploma or equivalent; automotive industry certification valued
