About the Role

This position focuses on building strong fundamentals and fostering a love of soccer among young players. You'll create dynamic training sessions that are both educational and genuinely fun, helping children in our Little Rowdies and Junior Rowdies programs develop skill, confidence, and sportsmanship.

What You'll Do

  • Design and lead age-appropriate training sessions that teach fundamental soccer techniques and match curriculum objectives
  • Deliver engaging games and drills that build skills while keeping youth athletes motivated and entertained
  • Establish a welcoming, supportive environment where every young player feels confident participating
  • Assess individual progress and provide encouraging feedback to help players grow
  • Maintain open communication with parents and guardians regarding program updates and player development
  • Manage equipment, prepare training areas, and maintain program records as needed

What We're Looking For

  • Demonstrated passion for youth soccer and working with young athletes
  • Solid grasp of fundamental soccer skills and age-appropriate coaching methods
  • Natural ability to engage, encourage, and inspire children through teaching
  • Strong commitment to creating safe, inclusive, and fun learning experiences
  • Prior youth sports coaching or mentoring experience (a significant advantage)
  • Dependable, organized approach to planning sessions and managing responsibilities
