Heart of House Lead (Peoria, IL)

Anchor Point Management Group is hiring a Heart of House Lead at our Vonachen Knolls location in Peoria County to lead our kitchen operations at Buffalo Wild Wings. This is a full-time position for a hands-on leader who excels in a fast-paced food preparation environment and takes pride in operational excellence.

About the Role

As Heart of House Lead at our Peoria, IL Buffalo Wild Wings, you'll oversee and execute all food production operations across our kitchen stations. This role is critical to our restaurant's success, ensuring every dish meets our quality standards while keeping your team coordinated and efficient throughout service.

What You'll Do

• Coordinate prep and portioning activities, working with the Manager on Duty to maintain accurate prep lists and ingredient levels throughout your shift
• Lead operations across multiple kitchen stations including Chip, Shake, Grill, Southwest, and Expo stations
• Execute consistent food preparation techniques according to Buffalo Wild Wings standards and recipes
• Maintain station organization, cleanliness, and food safety compliance at all times
• Support and mentor kitchen team members to uphold quality and operational standards
• Monitor inventory needs and communicate equipment or supply concerns to management

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in fast-casual or QSR kitchen operations, ideally in a lead or supervisory role
• Strong foundational knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen safety
• Ability to multitask and maintain composure during peak service periods
• Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset with kitchen and front-of-house teams
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and safely operate kitchen equipment
• Commitment to food safety standards and restaurant cleanliness protocols
