Registered Nurse Navigator-RN

Global Medical Response seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Navigator to join our Denton County team in Lewisville, Texas. This full-time nursing position plays a critical role in our patient-centered healthcare model, helping patients navigate complex healthcare systems with confidence and clarity.

The Nurse Navigator Role

As a Nurse Navigator, you'll operate as a trusted clinical guide for patients, focused entirely on care coordination and patient education rather than direct patient care. Your expertise as an RN helps patients understand their health options, manage insurance-related challenges, and connect with appropriate care resources.

Key Responsibilities

• Educate patients on health conditions, treatment plans, and self-management strategies
• Address patient questions and concerns regarding clinical care and medical decision-making
• Coordinate care with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and other stakeholders
• Assist patients in scheduling appointments and understanding insurance coverage
• Document patient interactions with accuracy and completeness
• Support the clinical team in improving patient satisfaction and health outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Valid Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Excellent communication and patient advocacy skills
• Comfort working 12-hour rotating night shifts
• Strong organizational and documentation abilities
• Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous learning

Position Details

This full-time Nurse Navigator position in Lewisville offers a 12-hour rotating night shift schedule. Compensation ranges from $38.00 to $42.50 per hour. Comprehensive paid training is provided, with the next training cohort beginning in June.
