Good Samaritan seeks a Certified Medication Assistant for part-time, as-needed work in our Long Term Care facility in Miller, South Dakota, serving the Hughes County area. This position offers flexible scheduling and hourly pay ranging from $18.50 to $28.00, depending on experience and qualifications.

About the Role

As a Certified Medication Assistant in our Long Term Care community, you'll provide direct, hands-on support to residents, administering medications and assisting with daily activities under the guidance of our licensed nursing team. With flexible, as-needed scheduling, this role is ideal for certified professionals seeking part-time hours in a patient-centered healthcare setting.

What You'll Do

• Administer medications to residents according to prescriptions and nursing direction
• Document all medication administrations accurately in patient records
• Monitor residents for medication effects and side effects, reporting observations to nursing staff
• Assist residents with personal care and activities of daily living
• Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary conditions in resident areas
• Collaborate with nurses, caregivers, and healthcare professionals
• Adhere to all facility policies, safety protocols, and compliance standards

What We're Looking For

• Current Medication Assistant certification (required for this LTC position)
• Ability to work flexible, as-needed PRN shifts with varying weekly hours
