Sr. Manager, T-Line South – Location Flexible

PG&E Corporation is hiring a Senior Manager for T-Line South operations, a location-flexible role based in Davis, Yolo County. In this full-time position, you'll lead critical transmission infrastructure operations across Northern California while maintaining the highest standards of reliability, safety, and regulatory compliance.

About the Role

As Senior Manager of T-Line South, you oversee the operational performance, maintenance, and safety of transmission line assets across a strategic region. You'll direct engineering and operations teams, ensure infrastructure meets peak performance standards, and drive continuous improvement across all systems. This leadership role bridges engineering excellence with operational execution, requiring both technical depth and team management skill.

What You'll Do

• Lead multi-disciplinary teams responsible for transmission line maintenance, construction, and field operations
• Develop and implement operational strategies that maximize asset reliability and minimize downtime
• Oversee project planning, execution, and closeout for maintenance and capital improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with NERC standards, OSHA regulations, and company safety protocols
• Monitor key performance metrics, conduct root cause analysis, and drive corrective actions
• Manage budgets, resources, and staffing to support operational objectives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, planning, and regulatory affairs
• Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous learning within your organization

What We're Looking For

• Senior-level experience in electric utility operations, transmission engineering, or related field
• Proven leadership managing large technical teams in high-reliability environments
• Strong knowledge of transmission line operations, maintenance practices, and electrical systems
• Excellent project and program management capabilities
• Deep understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards in electric utilities
• Demonstrated ability to drive operational performance improvements and cost management
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline; advanced degree or professional certifications preferred
