Alliance Group is hiring a full-time Heating and Refrigeration Technician to join our field service team operating out of our North Clarendon, VT operations center in the United States. If you take pride in keeping HVAC and refrigeration systems running reliably, this hands-on role is built for you.
About the Role
As a Heating and Refrigeration Technician with Alliance Group, you will spend your days in the field servicing residential and commercial customers across the region. This position centers on the upkeep, diagnosis, and repair of a wide range of heating, cooling, and related mechanical equipment, including mini-split and ductless systems, ensuring each installation performs at its best.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance on residential and commercial HVAC and refrigeration units
- Conduct thorough inspections to verify equipment is operating safely and efficiently
- Diagnose faults and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant-related issues in the field
- Complete repairs on a variety of heating, cooling, and mechanical systems, including mini-split units
- Document service work and communicate clearly with customers on-site
Qualifications
- Practical experience servicing and repairing HVAC and refrigeration equipment
- Strong troubleshooting skills across heating, cooling, and related mechanical systems
- Comfortable working independently in a field-based environment
- Willingness to travel to residential and commercial job sites in the North Clarendon, VT area
- Reliability, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality service
