About the Role

The QV Work Documentation, Expert partners with engineering, project management, and field services teams to create, review, and maintain technical documents that support safe and reliable infrastructure work. What You'll Do

  • Develop and update work instructions, procedures, and reference materials in accordance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct quality validation reviews of documentation to verify technical accuracy, clarity, and completeness.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to capture operational knowledge and translate it into user‑friendly documentation.
  • Maintain document control systems, ensuring proper versioning, approval workflows, and accessibility for stakeholders.
  • Identify gaps or inconsistencies in existing documentation and recommend improvements to enhance usability and compliance.
  • Support training initiatives by providing clear, accurate materials for new hire onboarding and ongoing skill development.
  • Participate in cross‑functional audits and provide documentation evidence to demonstrate adherence to quality and safety protocols.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience creating and managing technical work documentation, preferably in utilities, construction, or energy sectors.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to interpret complex technical information and produce clear, concise documents.
  • Familiarity with document control systems and version control best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for collaborating across diverse teams.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards, regulatory requirements, and quality assurance principles.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to evolving project needs.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with specialized authoring tools is a plus.
