Sr. Manager, T-Line South – Location Flexible

About the Role

As a Senior Manager leading the T-Line South division, you'll direct strategy, planning, and execution of transmission operations, asset maintenance, and capital projects. You'll manage cross-functional teams, coordinate with multiple business units, and ensure reliable delivery of electric service to customers while meeting regulatory and safety standards.

What You'll Do

• Oversee daily operations and maintenance of transmission lines, substations, and associated equipment
• Direct engineering studies, system analysis, and design work to support operational reliability
• Lead construction and capital project execution, ensuring projects meet timeline, budget, and quality requirements
• Manage personnel planning, performance, and development within your management area
• Ensure compliance with NERC, FERC, state regulatory requirements, and internal safety policies
• Collaborate with dispatch, planning, and system operations to optimize network performance
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement operational best practices

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related technical field
• 10+ years of experience in electric utility operations, transmission systems, or related engineering roles
• Demonstrated leadership managing technical teams and complex projects
• Strong knowledge of transmission line design, operation, and maintenance
• Understanding of power systems, electrical equipment, and utility infrastructure
• Experience with regulatory compliance, safety protocols, and utility standards
• Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills
