Contracts Manager

Saab, Inc. is hiring a Contracts Manager to manage a diverse portfolio of agreements within our Air Traffic Management and Defense business unit. This full-time position is based at either our East Syracuse, New York or Quincy, Massachusetts office and covers proposal development, contract negotiation, and implementation of domestic and international agreements.

About the Role

In this strategic position, you'll oversee the complete lifecycle of complex contracts for Saab's ATM and Defense operations. Your responsibilities span high-stakes negotiations, contract execution, managing modifications and amendments, and maintaining relationships with customers and partners across government and commercial sectors.

What You'll Do

• Support proposal development and lead contract negotiations for defense and air traffic management programs
• Execute contracts and manage modifications, amendments, and changes throughout their lifecycle
• Negotiate and finalize terms with domestic and international clients, balancing risk and business objectives
• Maintain comprehensive contract documentation and ensure regulatory compliance
• Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve contract issues and support ongoing client relationships
• Review technical and commercial requirements for contract feasibility and alignment with operational capabilities

What We're Looking For

• Established background managing contracts in aerospace, defense, or government-related industries
• Advanced negotiation and interpersonal skills with proven ability to work across multiple stakeholder groups
• Working knowledge of contract law, terms and conditions, and compliance standards
• Ability to manage multiple complex contracts simultaneously while meeting deadlines
• Problem-solving mindset and comfort working in fast-paced, dynamic environments
• Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent relevant professional experience
