Senior Supplier Program Manager

Saab is hiring a Senior Supplier Program Manager based in Marietta, Onondaga County. In this full-time role, you'll lead supplier relationships and material delivery operations that drive program success for our organization's most critical initiatives.

About the Role

This Senior Supplier Program Manager position places you at the intersection of program execution and supplier partnership. You'll oversee the complete lifecycle of supplier relationships for critical programs, from initial engagement through ongoing performance optimization. Your work ensures that material deliveries align with program timelines, quality standards, and business objectives. Operating from our Marietta location, you'll collaborate closely with program managers, logistics teams, and executive leadership to maintain supply chain excellence across our organization.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers and vendors essential to program delivery
• Monitor supplier performance metrics, including on-time delivery, quality, and cost compliance
• Coordinate material procurement schedules to align with program milestones and requirements
• Identify supply chain risks and implement proactive mitigation strategies
• Lead supplier negotiations, contract reviews, and performance improvement initiatives
• Serve as the primary point of contact for supplier escalations and program-specific issues
• Analyze supply chain data and prepare reporting for program leadership and stakeholders

What You Bring

• 5+ years of supply chain management or supplier relationship management experience
• Demonstrated success managing multiple supplier accounts in a program-driven environment
• Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills with ability to influence across organizational levels
• Advanced proficiency in supply chain systems, procurement software, and data analysis tools
• Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize competing program demands
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Procurement, or related field (or equivalent experience)
