About the Role

As a Paraprofessional/Special Education Teaching Assistant, you'll work with individual students and small groups, delivering targeted instruction and support tailored to their unique learning needs. This position bridges classroom teaching and student success, requiring both flexibility and commitment to making a measurable difference in the lives of learners who benefit most from additional one-on-one or small-group instruction.

What You'll Do

• Provide individualized and small-group instruction under the direction of the classroom or special education teacher
• Support students with academic skills, behavioral strategies, and daily classroom routines
• Monitor and document student progress on assigned learning goals
• Assist with classroom materials, organization, and preparation of instructional resources
• Communicate regularly with teachers and families about student progress and needs
• Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment where all students feel valued

What We're Looking For

• A minimum of a 2-year college degree in any field, OR 60+ hours of completed college coursework, OR a passing score on the Paraprofessional exam
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with diverse learners and families
• Ability to follow teacher direction and work collaboratively within a school team
• Patience, flexibility, and genuine commitment to student success
• Reliability and professional conduct in all interactions
