EnviroLogix is hiring an Associate Scientist to join our diagnostic laboratory team in Portland, Cumberland County. This is a full-time position for someone ready to advance diagnostic innovation in agricultural and food safety applications.

About the Role

As an Associate Scientist, you'll conduct laboratory research and analysis that directly supports our diagnostic platform development. You'll work alongside experienced scientists and cross-functional teams to design experiments, analyze results, and contribute to breakthroughs in agricultural diagnostics and food supply chain testing. This role offers meaningful exposure to both analytical chemistry and real-world applications in grain testing and food safety.

What You'll Do

  • Perform laboratory experiments and assays to support diagnostic product development
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret scientific data with attention to accuracy and reproducibility
  • Collaborate with other scientists and engineers to troubleshoot technical challenges
  • Document methodologies and maintain detailed laboratory records
  • Participate in quality assurance and validation testing
  • Contribute to projects spanning agricultural diagnostics, grain markets, and food safety applications

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences, chemistry, biology, or related field
  • Laboratory experience with hands-on analytical work
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data integrity
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment
  • Solid communication skills and willingness to learn across diverse technical areas
  • Interest in agricultural science or food safety is a plus
