Korea Chief Information Security Officer

Apple is seeking a Chief Information Security Officer to lead security strategy and operations across our Korea region. This full-time position offers an opportunity to serve as Apple's primary security leader in Korea, responsible for developing and executing security initiatives that protect our business, people, and information while ensuring full compliance with local and global requirements.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute comprehensive security strategy for Korea operations, aligned with Apple's global security standards and local regulatory mandates
• Lead security teams responsible for infrastructure security, application security, identity and access management, and incident response
• Establish security governance frameworks, policies, and standards to address regulatory compliance and organizational risk management
• Identify, assess, and mitigate security and privacy risks across Apple's Korea business through systematic risk management and threat analysis
• Oversee security incident detection, response, and recovery operations to minimize business disruption and reputational impact
• Build relationships with internal leadership, external partners, government agencies, and regulatory bodies to advance Apple's security posture
• Foster a security-aware culture across the organization and drive adoption of best practices and security standards

What We're Looking For

• Extensive leadership experience in information security at the executive level, including prior Chief Information Security Officer role or equivalent
• Deep expertise in security strategy, enterprise governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks for multinational organizations
• Strong background in security technologies, threat intelligence, and incident response management
• Proven ability to lead large, high-performing security teams and build enterprise-scale security programs
• Experience with regulatory compliance requirements and local business practices in Korea or other complex regulatory environments
• Excellent communication, executive presence, and ability to influence at all levels of the organization
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information technology, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
