Central Bucks School District is seeking a full-time Head Coach for Girls Flag Football at Central Bucks High School West, starting in Spring 2027. This is your opportunity to lead a growing athletic program and make a meaningful impact on student-athletes in a supportive school environment.
About the Role
As Head Coach of Girls Flag Football, you'll direct all aspects of the program, from preseason conditioning and skill development to in-season competition and playoff preparation. You'll foster a culture of teamwork, discipline, and athletic excellence while supporting each player's growth both on and off the field.
What You'll Do
- Plan and lead practices that develop football fundamentals, tactical knowledge, and game-ready conditioning
- Recruit, evaluate, and mentor student-athletes throughout the season
- Organize competitions and manage game strategy, formations, and player assignments
- Maintain compliance with district and state athletic association rules and policies
- Communicate regularly with student-athletes, parents, and school administration
- Develop athletic policies and promote sportsmanship, team unity, and student success
- Attend required coaching clinics and professional development sessions
What We're Looking For
- Proven coaching experience with high school athletes or equivalent demonstrated expertise in flag football
- Knowledge of flag football rules, strategy, and technique
- Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate diverse student-athletes
- Commitment to student safety and adherence to district athletic standards
- Valid teaching certificate or coaching endorsement as required by district policy
- Ability to manage equipment, budget, and administrative responsibilities
