Home Health Registered Nurse PRN

CarePartners, part of HCA Healthcare, is hiring a full-time Home Health Registered Nurse PRN for Brevard and the surrounding area in Transylvania County. In this role, you'll deliver skilled nursing care directly in patients' homes, working with diverse populations while managing complex medical conditions with clinical expertise and compassionate care.

About the Role

This position offers the opportunity to practice nursing in the personal care setting where your clinical skills make an immediate, visible difference in patients' daily lives. You'll manage the complete scope of in-home patient care, serving individuals across all age groups and working with conditions ranging from acute to chronic to post-operative recovery.

What You'll Do

• Conduct thorough patient health assessments and develop individualized nursing care plans based on clinical findings
• Administer medications, injections, and perform clinical procedures including wound care and other skilled interventions
• Monitor vital signs, track patient progress, and document clinical observations to ensure continuity of care
• Educate patients and family members on treatment protocols, medication management, and disease self-care strategies
• Communicate and coordinate with physicians, therapists, case managers, and interdisciplinary care team members
• Maintain comprehensive, accurate clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards

What We're Looking For

• Current, valid North Carolina Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Active CPR and BLS certification
• Nursing experience in patient care, ideally in home health or hospital settings
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Valid driver's license and dependable transportation
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the care team
