Women’s Wrestling Graduate Assistant

PeopleAdmin is hiring a Women's Wrestling Graduate Assistant in Naperville, DuPage County. This full-time position supports the Head Coach and contributes directly to recruiting, team management, and student-athlete success in our collegiate wrestling program.

About the Role

As a Women's Wrestling Graduate Assistant, you'll be at the center of program growth and operations. Working alongside the Head Coach, you'll drive recruiting efforts across an assigned territory, nurture alumni relationships, coordinate fundraising initiatives, and ensure student-athletes receive comprehensive academic support. This role combines on-the-mat coaching assistance with strategic program development responsibilities.

What You'll Do

• Support the Head Coach across all aspects of managing and developing the women's wrestling program
• Own recruiting responsibilities for a designated territory, including prospect sourcing, evaluation, and relationship building
• Travel extensively to recruit qualified athletes and represent the program at showcases and recruiting events
• Coordinate alumni engagement and donor relations activities that strengthen program sustainability
• Assist with fundraising events and development campaigns supporting team initiatives
• Manage academic advising, eligibility tracking, and student-athlete compliance for program members

What We're Looking For

• Graduate student or recent graduate with meaningful athletics experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of collegiate wrestling, recruiting standards, and NCAA regulations
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Comfort with frequent travel as part of recruiting responsibilities
• Genuine commitment to student-athlete development and program excellence
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with coaches, athletes, and institutional teams
