About the Role
As the Institutional Advancement Graduate Assistant, you will work within the Institutional Advancement department, reporting directly to the Executive Assistant to the Vice President for Institutional Advancement. This full-time graduate assistantship in Naperville gives you firsthand exposure to the strategies behind successful fundraising, sponsorship development, and community relationship building.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on support for the college's fundraising programs and external relations activities.
- Take an active part in soliciting sponsorships and cultivating partner relationships.
- Assist the Institutional Advancement team with day-to-day administrative and project coordination needs.
- Help advance outreach efforts that strengthen donor engagement and institutional visibility.
Qualifications
- Current enrollment in a graduate program, qualifying you for a graduate assistantship.
- Strong written and interpersonal communication skills for engaging sponsors and stakeholders.
- Solid organizational abilities and attention to detail when juggling multiple priorities.
- A collaborative, dependable approach and genuine interest in advancement, development, or external relations.
