About the Role

As a Class A CDL Regional Driver with Perez Express LLC in Vancouver, Clark County, you'll take the wheel of heavy tractor-trailer equipment, keeping freight moving efficiently and safely across regional routes. This is a full-time, on-site driving position — not remote work.

What You'll Do

Operate tractor-trailer trucks with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) of 26,000 pounds or more in compliance with all federal and state regulations
Load and unload cargo at origin and destination points, following proper weight distribution and securement procedures
Maintain accurate, up-to-date driver activity logs and Hours of Service (HOS) records as required by FMCSA
Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues, defects, or safety concerns promptly
Follow all DOT regulations, company safety policies, and route instructions
Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding delivery status, delays, or on-road incidents

What We're Looking For

Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) — required
Ability to safely operate vehicles at or above 26,000 lbs. GVW, including tractor-trailer combinations
Solid understanding of DOT Hours of Service rules and electronic logging device (ELD) usage
Experience with cargo loading, unloading, and proper securement techniques
Strong attention to detail for documentation, inspection reports, and activity logs
