About the Role

This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opening for a safety-minded professional ready to handle local commodity pickups and deliveries throughout the greater Bay Area. As a Local CDL Class A Driver in Oakland, you will run a consistent daytime route, return home at the end of each shift, and play a hands-on part in delivering goods reliably and on schedule. Your valid HAZMAT endorsement and TWIC card make you uniquely qualified to transport regulated commodities and access secured port and terminal facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete local pickups and deliveries of commodities across the Bay Area during scheduled day-shift hours.
• Operate a Class A vehicle safely and in full compliance with DOT and HAZMAT transport regulations.
• Use your TWIC card to enter secured maritime, port, and terminal locations as required by each route.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any equipment or safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and uphold a strong commitment to on-time, damage-free service.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Current HAZMAT endorsement and an active TWIC card.
• Between 2 and 5 years of professional driving experience.
• A safety-first mindset and a clean, dependable driving record.
• Availability for a Monday-through-Friday day-shift schedule in the Oakland and broader Bay Area region.
