About the Role

As a part-time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with Happiness House and CP Rochester, you will deliver compassionate, evidence-based mental health care to the individuals we serve at our Rochester, NY clinic. This position is structured at 20.0–29.5 hours per week, typically 2–3 days per week at 7.5 hours per day, with a flexible arrangement built around clinic operating days and hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Prescribe, monitor, and adjust psychiatric medications in line with best clinical practice.
• Provide ongoing assessment, follow-up, and coordination of care during clinic hours.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team to support each patient's mental health goals.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Current licensure and certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
• Authorization to practice and prescribe in New York State.
• Availability to work clinic days within Monday–Friday operating hours (8:00am–4:00pm).
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and a patient-centered approach.

Compensation & Schedule

This role offers an hourly rate of $52.88–$67.30, commensurate with experience. The schedule is flexible across clinic days, with shifts falling within standard weekday operating hours.
